Our Sama furniture collection is featured in Elle Decoration Turkey’s April-May 2019 issue. Sama collection offers a functional simplicity that adds a unique and elegant touch to its environment. Taking its reference from the poetry of whirling costumes worn in Sufi ceremonies, the design plays with the geometry of conic sections to create simple yet authentic pieces of furniture.

The pieces in the collection are handmade by wood and metal artisans from Istanbul. The collection specifically rests at the intersection of craft production and modern design. Through this deliberate choice, Studio Kali aims to support craftsmanship and local industry, while uniting the worlds of crafts, art and culture through design.
