EDIDA 2020 Turkey Elle Decoration International Design Awards were presented on February 18, 2020, with an awards ceremony organized by Elle Decoration Turkey in Frankie Istanbul. Designer Fulden Topaloğlu received the EDIDA award in the category of Floor Covering, with her Ege and Yakamoz kilim collections that were designed for Studio Kali. Elle Decoration International Design Awards or EDIDA is an international event, where the 25 editors-in-chief of the ELLE DECORATION international network gather to award excellence in design in 14 categories, from fabrics and flooring to furniture, kitchens and bathrooms. This year the EDIDA Award was held for the 15^th time in Turkey and awarded the most successful designers of the year in the corresponding categories.

Fulden Topaloğlu’s Ege and Yakamoz kilim collections take their inspiration from the Aegean and Mediterranean spirit. Launched as part of Studio Kali’s product collection, the Ege and Yakamoz kilim collections reinterpret traditional craft techniques with a modern aesthetic and aim to carry the inspiration and sensibilities hidden in these techniques to contemporary life. With their minimal designs, natural materials, and unique visual expressions, Ege and Yakamoz kilims bring a contemporary, distinctive and fresh atmosphere to interior spaces.
