The award winning Sama Collection by Studio Kali is featured in Maison Française Turkey’s January 2020 issue. Designed by Fulden Topaloğlu, Sama Collection received Design Turkey 2019 “Superior Design Award” in Design Turkey Industrial Design Awards. The awards were announced during Design Week Turkey, held between November 14-17, 2019 at Halic International Convention & Exhibition Center.

Sama is an authentic furniture series, which provides functionality through simple, striking and sculptural forms. Inspired by the poetry of whirling costumes worn in Sama ceremonies, the design plays with the geometry of conic sections and metal bending processes to reinterpret this cultural inspiration through minimal and unique forms that provide an elegant touch to living spaces.
