Arkhe Collection Receives Silver A’ Design Award 2024
Arkhe Collection designed by Fulden Topaloğlu for Studio Kali received Silver A’ Design Award 2024 in the category of Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design. Best products, projects and services worldwide that demonstrate superior design, technology and creativity are rewarded with the International A’ Design Award; the symbol of excellence in design and innovation. There are five different levels of distinction: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron A’ Design Awards are distributed annually in several different design disciplines.
Inspired by the stunning amphitheaters dispersed throughout the Mediterranean geography, Arkhe collection is designer Fulden Topaloğlu’s personal tribute to these magical ruins and to all the history, culture and myths they whisper to our collective consciousness.
Arkhe collection is a graceful combination of functionality with sculptural posture. Natural beauty of travertine and wood, exquisite craftsmanship and inspiration coming from ancient amphitheaters of the Mediterranean give the collection its timeless appeal. Produced by skilled craftsman from travertine blocks, the delicate imperfections provided by unfilled honed travertine is a nod to the imperfections created by time on these monumental architectural wonders of the distant past.
